NEW! Customer Letter

The Board of Directors concluded a 6 month process to competitively bid wholesale power supply. The Board felt it had an obligation to NeNPPD's present customers as well as a legal obligation to bid out this purchase. In June 2013, the NePPD Board along with the cities of South Sioux City, Wayne, Wakefield, and Emerson advertised for competitive bids.

The 'Operation Roundup' Program supported local charities, civic organizations, schools and youth groups with $18,000 in funding during 2012. Funding is made by a separate volunteer Board of Directors and given locally to schools, Fire Districts, civic organizations and local charities. Over 6,000 NeNPPD customers are voluntarily participating. When you choose to participate in the Operation Roundup Program you are turning a few pennies of loose change into enough dollars to meet some local needs. To see a full list of donations made in 2012 click on this link. Thank you for your support of the Operations Roundup Program.
